وزیرخارجہ شاہ محمود قریشی نے کہا کہ مصر خطے کا ایک اہم ملک ہے ۔ اس کا استحکام اور ترقی خطے میں امن اور خوشحالی کے لیے ناگزیر ہے ۔ مصر، صدر عبدالفتاح السیسی کی قابل قیادت میں سیاسی استحکام اور سلامتی کی جانب گامزن ہے ۔ ہمارے دونوں ممالک کے عوام مشترکہ عقیدے،یکساں ثقافتی وابستگی کے بندھن سے بندھے ہوئے ہیں۔
شاہ محمود قریشی کا کہنا تھا کہ دونوں برادر ممالک کے درمیان علاقائی ، بین الاقوامی امور پر نقطہ نظر میں یکسانیت خوش آئند ہے ۔ میری گذشتہ سال دورہ ء مصر کے دوران، صدر السیسی اور وزیر خارجہ سامع شکری کے ساتھ بہت سود مند ملاقاتیں ہوئیں۔
وزیرخارجہ نے کہا کہ پاکستان مصری وزیر خارجہ سامع حسن شکری کے دورہ پاکستان ، اسلام آباد میں چوتھے مشترکہ وزارتی کمیشن (جے ایم سی) کے جلد انعقاد کا منتظر ہے۔
مصری سفیر طارق دہروگ نے وزیر خارجہ کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے پاکستان اور مصر کے مابین دو طرفہ تعلقات کے فروغ کے لئے اپنے ہر ممکن تعاون کا یقین دلایا۔
