انگلینڈ کے شہر مانچسٹر میں ہونے والی ویلٹر ویٹ فائیٹ میں کیل بروک نے عامر خان کو چھٹے ہی راؤنڈ میں ناک آؤٹ کر دیا۔
12 راؤنڈز پر مشتمل فائیٹ چھٹے ہی راؤنڈ میں اس وقت ختم ہو گئی ۔ عامر خان اپنا دفاع کرنے میں مسلسل ناکام رہے ۔ ریفری وکٹر لوگلین نے آگے بڑھ کر فائیٹ ختم ہونے کا اشارہ کیا۔

عامر خان اور کیل بروک میں طویل عرصے بعد ہونے والی فائیٹ پر دنیا بھر سے شائقین کی نظریں جمی تھیں۔ اس فائٹ کے ٹکٹ 10 جنوری کو فروخت کے لیے پیش کیے گئے تھے ۔ فائیٹ کی ہزاروں ٹکٹ صرف چند منٹ میں فروخت ہو گئیں ۔ جن شائقین کو ٹکٹ نہ ملے وہ افسردہ تھے۔
واضح رہے کہ جمعے کے روز مانچسٹر میں پریس کانفرنس کے دوران عامر خان نے کہا تھا کہ وہ کیل بروک کو ہار کا مزا چکھائیں گے۔
عامر خان نے یہ بھی کہا تھا کہ میں نے اپنے ذہن میں شکست ڈالی ہی نہیں کیوںکہ میں نے صرف جیتنا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر وہ فائٹ ہار بھی گئے تو ان کا باکسنگ سے ریٹائرمنٹ کا کوئی ارادہ نہیں ۔

کیل بروک کے ہاتھوں شکست کے بعد سکائی نیوز سے گفتگو میں پاکستانی نژاد برطانوی باکسر عامر خان نے کہا کہ وہ اس بارے میں بہت غمزدہ ہیں۔

کیل بروک کے ساتھ فائیٹ کے بارے میں بات کرتے ہوئے عامرخان نے کہا کہ میں نے وہ تمام ٹریننگ کی جس کی ہمیں ضرورت ہوتی ہے لیکن میں فائیٹ جاری نہیں رکھ سکا۔
عامر خان نے کیل بروک کی پرفارمنس پر گفتگو کرتے ہوئے عامر نے کہا کہ کیل کی پرفارمنس بہترین تھی ۔ آج کی رات اُن کی تھی۔ انھوں نے ’اے پرفارمنس کا مظاہرہ کیا اور اس کی انہیں ضرورت تھی۔
