بھارت کی انتہا پسند حکومت بھارتیہ جنتا پارٹی ( بی جے پی ) کا مخالفین کو ہراساں کرنے کا ایک اور خفیہ پروگرام بے نقاب ہو گیا، بی جے پی کی جانب سے مقبولیت میں اضافے اور اپنے ناقدین کو ہراساں کرنے کے لیے ایک خفیہ ایپ استعمال کرنے کا انکشاف ہوا ہے ۔
بھارتی نیوز ویب سائٹ دی وائر کی تحقیقاتی رپورٹ کے مطابق اپریل 2021 میں ایک ٹوئٹر اکاؤنٹ نے بی جے پی کے آئی ٹی سیل کا غیرمطئمن ملازم ہونے کا دعویٰ کیا جس میں انکشاف کیا گیا کہ ایک نہایت جدید اور خفیہ ایپ موجود ہے جس کا نام ’ٹیک فاگ‘ ہے۔
اس گمنام ٹوئٹر اکاؤنٹ سے کہا گیا تھا کہ یہ ایپ ’ری کیپچا کوڈز کو بائی پاس‘ کرنے کی صلاحیت رکھتی ہے، جس کی وجہ سے ملازمین اس پر ٹیکسٹ اور ہیش ٹیگ ٹرینڈز کو آٹو اپلوڈ کر سکتے ہیں ، اس بات نے دی وائر کی توجہ اپنی جانب مبذول کروائی اور وہ اس نامعلوم ایپ کی حقیقت جاننے کے لیے اس ٹوئٹر اکاؤنٹ کو چلانے والے شخص تک پہنچے۔
اس ٹوئٹ میں دعویٰ کیا گیا کہ ‘ری کیپچا کوڈز کو بائی پاس کرنے’ کے قابل ہے جس سے ساتھی ملازمین کو ‘آٹو اپ لوڈ ٹیکسٹ اور ہیش ٹیگ ٹرینڈز’ کرنے کی اجازت دی گئی ہے، ان کی روزانہ کی نوکری میں ٹارگٹڈ ہیش ٹیگز کے ساتھ ٹوئٹر کے ‘ٹرینڈنگ’ سیکشن کو ہائی جیک کرنا، بی جے پی سے وابستہ متعدد واٹس ایپ گروپس بنانا اور ان کا انتظام کرنا، بی جے پی پر تنقید کرنے والے صحافیوں کو آن لائن ہراساں کرنا، یہ سب ٹیک فوگ ایپ کے ذریعے ہوتا ہے۔
اانہوں نے دعویٰ کیا کہ اپنے مبینہ ہینڈلر دیوانگ دوے، جو بی جے پی کے یوتھ ونگ بھارتیہ جنتا یووا مورچہ ( بی جے وائی ایم) کے سابق نیشنل سوشل میڈیا اور آئی ٹی چیف اور مہاراشٹر میں پارٹی کے موجودہ الیکشن مینیجر ہیں، کے ان کے ساتھ کیے گئے وعدے کے پورا نہ ہونے کے بعد سامنے آنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔
’دیوانگ دوے نے 2018 میں بی جے پی کے لوک سبھا انتخاب میں کامیابی حاصل کرنے پر انہیں ایک اچھی نوکری دینے کا وعدہ کیا تھا، جو پورا نہیں ہوا۔‘
اگلے دو سالوں میں آپس میں بات چیت کا ایک طویل عمل جاری رہا، جہاں دی وائر کی ٹیم نے اس بات کی چھان بین کی کہ وسل بلوور کی جانب سے لگائے گئے الزامات میں کن چیزوں کی تصدیق کی جا سکتی ہے اور کن چیزوں کی نہیں۔
اس کے علاوہ اس طرح کی ایپ کے ہونے سے عوامی فورم کے بحث و مباحثہ اور ملک کے جمہوری عمل کے تقدس پر مرتب ہونے والے ہمہ گیر اثرات کی بھی چھان بین کی گئی۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق اس عمل کے ذریعے دی وائر کو شواہد کے تاروں کو آپس میں جوڑ کر آگے بڑھنے اور ایک بڑے آپریشن کا انکشاف کرنے میں کامیابی ملی، جو دنیا کی سب سے بڑی جمہوریت میں عوامی بحث و مباحثہ کو گمراہ کرنے کے لیے قدم سے قدم ملا کر کام کرنے والے سرکاری اور نجی اتھارٹیوں کے اتحاد کی جانب اشارہ کر رہا تھا۔
ایسا تقریباً تمام بڑے سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارم پر فرضی ٹرینڈ کو آگے بڑھا کر اور بحث و مباحثہ کو اپنے حساب سے ہائی جیک کرتے ہوئے کیا جا رہا تھا۔
ذرائع کی جانب سے فراہم کیے گئے ’ٹیک فاگ‘ کے سکرین کاسٹس اور سکرین شاٹس نے اس کے متعدد فیچرز کی نشاندہی کی اور سائبر ٹروپس کے کام کاج کے ڈھانچے کو اور قریب سے سمجھنے میں دی وائر کی ٹیم کی مدد کی۔
یہ سائبر آرمی اس ایپ کا استعمال روزانہ عوامی رائے کو متاثر کرنے، آزاد آوازوں کو ہراساں کرنے، دھمکی دینے اور انڈیا میں یکطرفہ انفارمیشن کی تشہیر کے لیے کرتی ہے۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق وعدے کے پورا نہ ہونے کے بعد انہوں نے سامنےآنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔ ذرائع کے مطابق، دوےنے 2018 میں بی جے پی2019 کے لوک سبھا انتخاب میں کامیابی حاصل کرنے پر انہیں ایک اچھی نوکری دینے کا وعدہ کیا تھا، جو پورا نہیں ہوا۔
اگلے دو سالوں میں آپسی بات چیت کا ایک طویل عمل جاری رہا، جہاں دی وائر کی ٹیم نے اس بات کی چھان بین کی کہ وہسل بلوور کی جانب سے لگائے گئےالزامات میں کن چیزوں کی تصدیق کی جا سکتی ہے اور کن چیزوں کی نہیں۔
اس کے علاوہ اس طرح کے ایپ کے ہونے سےعوامی فورم کےبحث ومباحثہ اور ملک کے جمہوری عمل کے تقدس پر مرتب ہونے والے ہمہ گیر اثرات کی بھی چھان بین کی گئی۔
اِن-کرپٹیڈ ای میل اور آن لائن چیٹ روم کے ذریعے ٹوئٹر اکاؤنٹ کے پیچھے موجود شخص نے ایپ کی خصوصیات کو ظاہر کرنے والے کئی اسکرین کاسٹ اور اسکرین شاٹ بھیجے۔ذرائع نے(عوامی نہ کرنے کی شرط پر)اپنی اور ان کےمالکوں کی شناخت قائم کرنے کے لیے پے- سلپ(ادائیگی کی رسید)اور بینک کی تفصیلات بھی شیئر کیں۔
وہسل بلوور کی جانب سے لگائے گئے ہرالزام کو آزادانہ طور پرتصدیق کے ایک عمل سے گزاراگیا، جس کے ذریعےدی وائر کی ٹیم نے ایپ کےمختلف کاموں، ایپ بنانے والوں اور صارفین کی شناخت اور اس کا استعمال کرنے والی تنظیموں کے بارے میں زیادہ سے زیادہ معلومات حاصل کرنے کی کوشش کی۔
ایپ کے ذریعے ٹوئٹر کے ٹرینڈنگ اور فیس کے ٹرینڈ والے سیکشن کو ہائی جیک کیا جاتا ہے۔
اس فیچر کا استعمال رائٹ ونگ پروپیگنڈے کو وسیع پیمانے پر پھیلانے، اس مواد کو پلیٹ فارم کے وسیع اور الگ الگ طبقے کے صارف تک پہنچایا جاتا ہے ، اس طرح سے انتہا پسندانہ بیانیے اور سیاسی تحریکوں کی مقبولیت کو حقیقت سے کہیں زیادہ بڑھا چڑھا کر پیش کیا جاتا ہے۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق ایسا تقریباً تمام بڑے سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارم پرفرضی ٹرینڈ کو آگے بڑھا کر اور بحث ومباحثہ /چرچہ کو اپنے حساب سےہائی جیک کرتے ہوئےکیا جا رہا تھا۔
یہ ایپ ایک اور خطرناک کام انجام دیتی ہے ، یہ پرائیوٹ آپریٹرز کو عام شہریوں کے غیر فعال واٹس ایپ اکاؤنٹس کو ہائی جیک کرنے اور ان کے فون نمبروں کا استعمال کر کے اکثر رابطہ کیے جانے والے یا تمام نمبروں پر پیغام بھیجنے کا اختیار دیتی ہے۔
یہ آپریٹرز کے ہدف بنائے گئے صارفین کی نجی معلومات کو چرانے اور اسے کلاؤڈ بیسڈ سیاسی ڈیٹا بیس میں شامل کرنے کے لیے بھی استعمال ہوتی ہے۔
ایپ کے سکرین شاٹس اور سکرین کاسٹس سے عام شہریوں کے ایک مفصل اور متحرک کلاؤڈ ڈیٹا بیس کا پتہ چلتا ہے جس کی ان کے پیشے، مذہب، زبان، عمر، جنس، سیاسی وابستگی اور یہاں تک کہ ان کی جسمانی خصوصیات کی بنیاد پر درجہ بندی کی گئی ہے۔
ایپ آپریٹرز پل بھر کے نوٹس پر تمام موجودہ اکاؤنٹس کو حذف یا تبدیل کر سکتے ہیں ، اس کا مطلب یہ ہوا کہ وہ اپنے ماضی کی تمام سرگرمیوں کو جو ان کے جرم کو ثابت کر سکتی ہیں، تباہ کر سکتے ہیں ۔
